They look pretty good right? You’re looking at homemade protein scones that are super healthy and easy to make. Rich on protein and delicious – win, win!

Recipe, enough to make 6-8 pieces:
– 3 eggs
– 1 cottage cheese
– oatmeal
– bakingsoda
– salt
– whatever seed you prefer

I recommend you use a mixer for this as the dough is supposed to be quite firm, unless you want to be sweaty betty by the end of this.
Mix 3 eggs, 1 box of cottage cheese, 2 tsp bakingsoda and a pinch of salt. Blend it together untill everything is nice and smooth. Add the amount of oatmeal that is necessary, I didn’t really measure but I’m guessing somewhere between 3-400 grams (or maybe even more).. The dough is supposed to be firm and not sticky when rolling them out on a baking sheet. I lightly went over with some water on each scone to make them more crispy, and to make the sesame seed stick. Put your oven on 200 degrees celcius and bake them for approximately 15 minutes. Voilá, you’ve made the most delicious and easy scones that are out there, enjoy!

  1. These look wonderful! I love oats and sesame seeds.
    Couple of questions:
    1. What’s the weight of the cottage cheese container?
    2. Is the oat ground oat? Like flour consistency?
    Thanks!

    • Keep them in a container and they’ll be fresh for a couple of days. A tip is to freeze them and take them out when ever you need more, you can also heat them up in the microwave to make them fresh and warm again 🙂 Bon apetite!
